Cassandra Dawn discovered her connection to storytelling at a young age, drawn to the power of narrative to illuminate the hidden corners of human experience. As the first in her family to attend college, she earned a B.S. in Management before answering a different call, serving seven years in the U.S. Air Force, where discipline and resilience became second nature.

Her path continued to evolve, leading her to complete a degree in Physical Therapist Assistance, where she witnessed firsthand how trauma reshapes both body and mind. These experiences, the military's weight, the fragility of recovery, the quiet strength required to rebuild, now infuse every frame of her filmmaking.

With Nix Figment, Cassandra channels her unique perspective into a psychological exploration of identity, memory, and survival. Her vision is unflinching yet deeply human, creating worlds that feel both hauntingly familiar and utterly alien.
